Being a female athlete comes with its challenges, especially on social media - hell, being a female on social media is hard enough. Outside of the majority that might be friendly and polite, women have to deal with the vocal minority that either wants to spew vile garbage at them for no reason other than the fact they're a woman or the other vocal minority group that wants to see some "TNA". You could easily forgive prominent female athletes for never using social media, and the ones that do likely have to utilize the block or mute button quite frequently; in fact, that job alone might require hiring a staff. However, there are numerous women athletes who continue to give fans the goods on their social media accounts and have amassed quite the following as a result. Whether it's because they crave the attention or feel empowered by showcasing their beautiful body, we're thankful for it either way.
